You’re Under Arrest! Full Throttle

Not much, but here’s a scan from Afternoon Magazine regarding the new anime called You’re Under Arrest! Full Throttle (thanks Juanc70).

Those with Japanese knowledge are welcome to help with the translating this (if I find someone to translate this, I’ll update it). I do know that all of the original seiyuu from the earlier series have returned so that’s great news. The new character designs will take some getting used to.

OK FUNimation, you need to license You’re Under Arrest! 2 big time (and you can pick up You’re Under Arrest! in America as well).

Edit (02 August 2006): I forgot that back in June, CuSO4 reported this:

July issues of both Animedia and Newtype said that the storyline of new TV series happened right after the last TV series : Natsumi will come back from the special duty unit to Bokuto Traffic Department to partner with Miyuki again. No new photo is available.

In July, he reported this:

More info in the August issue of Newtype : cast will be the same as previous series.

Natsumi has undergone special forces training with the JSDF, meanwhile Miyuki has gone to America to learn scientific criminal investigation (forensics) with the Los Angeles police department. When they come together again with their new skills what will be the outcome?

New TV anime series Taiho Shichauzo Full Throttle to be broadcast in fall atTBS and BS-i.

Miyuki is learning profiling skills in US while Natsumi is training in the self-defenese force.

The strongest combination in the Bokutou Police Station comes back after pretty, but over-power up themselves.

First episode will be about Miyuki meeting a boy on the plane from US back to Japan. The boy’s reason for going to Japan will cause some big troubles……

I had Miwa-sensei looking into it, so if she adds more, I’ll add that too.
